Update From Beijing

Coach Alan is in Beijing with the Canadian Blind Sports Assosciation for the Paralympic Games and has sent the following update: Okay- wow is all I can say.

The Paralympic opening lived up to "equal games"- the Bird's Nest was sold out and packed, over 3 hours of performances by singers and dancers with disabilities.

One of the opening acts featured 2000 kids doing a hip hop routine- they were amazing!  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBYLahldjD8 Cruise around YouTube and see what else you can find!

Pics will be up later in the day (or week) as my teams start their competitions today.
