Wednesday TT news: JJ denies conspiracy

On Wednesday evening under threatening skies, LETC fielded its largest ever turn out for a time trial.  Admittedly, there were many options to accommodate the many races coming up in the next month, regardless we had a great turn out. The options included;

  • 30 km time trial (3 x 10 km loops) with and without a run at the end
  • 3 x 10 km+600 m run
  • 20 km time trial (2 x 10 km loops) with and without a run at the end
  • 2 x 10 km+600 m run
  • 21 km time trial (3 x 7 km loops) with and without a run at the end
  • 3 x 7 km+600 m run

Well done everyone for showing up and testing your limits against the clock.

Alan & Andrew

In closing, LETC mascot JJ emphatically denies any involvement in Kristina's crash.  Despite earlier rumours that he was the driver of the motorcycle she hit,  JJ was not in fact involved.

Sources at the Granville Island Animal Clinic verified his statement that he was the victim of a freak soccer defense accident that yanked one of his claws out, thus necessitating a trip to the Animal ER.  While his claims of being a good driver are unsubstantiated, ICBC said that with a missing claw he would not have been able to drive anyways.

For those concerned, the claw will regrow and Kristina is doing better than JJ as she can still run.

Thanks to Marie for covering for JJ when he had to leave.
