LETC June 27-28 update

Wednesday Ride (June 27)

We will meet at the start of our time trial course tonight NOT Cuppa Joe. So please arrive at SW Marine Dr @ Camosun ready to ride by 6:30 pm

The workout is;

  • Warm up 10-15 min in teams of 3-5 riders
  • 2 x 16 km team time trials
    • time trial #1: 12 km as team (drafting okay) / last 4 km solo (no drafting)
    • 15 min easy recovery ride
    • time trial #2: 8 km as team (drafting okay) / last 8 km solo (no drafting)
  • Warm down 10 min +

Thursday Run (June 28)

The run venue this week is Jericho Park East at our usual 6:30 pm start time. Look for the group around the lifeguard station.

The workout is;

  • 10-20 min easy warm up
  • 2-4 x 3 km at your target race pace on approximately a 5:1 work to rest ratio (i.e. 15:00 min run on 3:00 min rest)
  • 10-20 min warm down
