LETC correction to April 1 memo

Thank you for all the well wishers who sent Andrew good luck messages for his upcoming trip to Hawai'i.

There were a few (ahem!) inaccuracies in the April 1 memo that may have lead to some misunderstandings.

The original memo stated;

LETC Head Coach Andrew Tuovinen leaves Saturday to compete in the inaugural ITU M-Pro triathlon on the big island of Hawai'i HI. Andrew will be competing against top masters age triathletes from around the world in this prestigious and long awaited masters only series opener.

The M-Pro Tour will follow the ITU Olympic Distance format and supplement the ITU elite calendar and build up to the age group World Championships in Berlin Germany this September. At the 2001 ITU Worlds in Edmonton, Andrew won the 40-44 age group and set himself up as a top contender. He will be hard pressed by challenges from the Basque born Frenchman Osspin d'Alvir and Swiss legend Ülf Prali.
