Below is the overview of the general 2012 LE schedule. Venue and workout updates are announced to the membership through email and blog posts.
Schedule – Coached Sessions
Wednesday – Run
6:30-8:00 pm at Kit’s Community Centre, UBC Track and other locations such as Jericho East.
Thursday – Bike
6:30-8:00 pm at Speed Theory January until late-April (when sunset is after 8 pm) then meeting outdoors at various locations in Kitsilano. Combo bike-run workouts are mixed in throughout the season, with more emphasis in the summer months.
Sunday – Swim
January to the end of May
8:30 am – 10:00 am swim session at Lord Byng pool (3990 W 14th- near Crown).
10:30 am uncoached group run after swim.
June – September
Times vary (7:30/8:30 am) at Kit’s Beach Pool, Kit’s Beach or Sasamat Lake.
Schedule – Uncoached Sessions
Saturday – Bike
Winter (January + February)
9:00 am uncoached long easy ride from Kit’s Community Centre. OR for indoor spin options see bottom of page.
Spring & Summer (March+)
8:00, 9:00 or 10:00 am uncoached long easy ride from Bean Around the World on Cornwall near Walnut. Start time varies by training group, season, astrology, previous night’s dinner – check the blog for related news in “LE this week“!
Sunday – Run
10:30am (after swim) long easy run from Swim location.
Indoor Spin Options
LE members are encouraged to participate in indoor spin classes held at Fit FX Studio, Cadence Cycling Studio, and Speed Theory. Please see their websites for contact information and information about classes.
