In multisport, the health of your body overall is just as important as the coached workout sessions. The Leading Edge Performance Enhancement Team is a group of outstanding professionals who are can help you with these often-overlooked aspects of multisport training, including nutrition, physiotherapy, general physical health, and more. Members of the PET team will give workshops to the group throughout the year, and are also available for individual consultation.

Janet Harrison, Registered Physiotherapist
Janet Harrison is a registered Physiotherapist and certified Pilates instructor who has been practicing in Vancouver’s athletic community for 10 years.
She has competed in road and trail running races, triathlons including IMC, and has been a member of the age group national triathlon team.
Janet’s additional training in somatic movement education is reflected in her mind-body approach to treatment and to competitive athletics.

Leah Perrier, Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist
Leah is an advocate for health and wellness and believes in providing practical nutrition advice to people and communities. Her experiences have provided a focus on sports nutrition and family nutrition as a private practice dietitian.
She is involved in the sports nutrition community providing nutrition seminars and individual counseling to various sports teams and clubs in Vancouver and on the North Shore.
Leah practices what she preaches and has competed in various triathlons, running races, road biking races as well as Ironman Canada.
Dr. Andrew Spence, Chiropractor
Andrew has been a chiropractor, with a focus in biomechanics for more than 25 years. As a longtime avid skier and competitive athlete who has competed in marathons, biathlons, and triathlons, Andrew’s approach to chiropractic is holistic in nature. Andrew uses current protocols for assessment and treatment, along with guidance in nutrition, exercise and ergonomics to educate his clients in how best to increase general health, reduce injury and obtain peak performance. Previous to becoming a doctor, Andrew worked internationally as a certified Yoga instructor.
